Called for reservations to celebrate family birthdays. Turns out the person who answered the phone had the days mixed up and they aren't open on Sunday nights this time of year. They opened for us! We had the entire restaurant to ourselves so didn't have to keep the kids' too quiet. Food was delicious (as usual). Excellent service. Did not charge to plate ice cream birthday cake and even put candles on it. Nothing can compare to hometown family operated restaurants.
We are from out of town, & drove by looking for food. We noticed the sign in the window that said "Joe's Spaghetti Sauce," & decided to give it a try. We were so glad we did! Grace was our server, and quickly seated us & brought our drinks. I had eggplant parmigiana with spaghetti, & Hubby had lasagna. I was so impressed with the sauce that I bought a 35 ounce jar to go! I was grateful that I only got the Mini Entree because I was able to finish my plate, & Hubby couldn't! Great find!
Origlio's has always been a go to spot for me when I return to Oneida. Great food, drinks and atmosphere all at fair prices. The prime rib is to die for. The Delmonico steaks are cooked to perfection.
The restaurant was busy and had a lot of energy due to a wedding party's rehearsal dinner. The bar had several patrons and the inside dining area was nearly full so we sat on the patio with another party of five. The service was a delight and engaging. The Italian menu items represented well. We had chicken parm and rigatoni and both were very good as the sauce was very tasty. The real treat was the selection of freshly HOME MADE desserts!
